Walk With Me
A collaborative fourth-year capstone project developed by Knick Knack Game Shack, a team of thirteen passionate students working together to bring an ambitious game concept to life.
Development Timeline
The project spanned 8 months of dedicated development:
- ✓ 2 months of preproduction and planning
- ⊘ 6 months of production (halted due to COVID-19)
Unfortunately, the unprecedented events of the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to halt production before the game could be completed.
About the Game
Walk With Me is a co-operative, 3D, isometric adventure game where players take on the roles of The Reaper and The Lost Soul as they traverse the mysterious realm of The Netherworld.
Players must work together to explore atmospheric environments, solve intricate puzzles, and fend off otherworldly enemies as they journey towards the afterlife. The game emphasizes cooperation and communication between the two distinct characters, each with their own unique abilities and perspectives.

My Role
Lead Programmer
As the lead programmer, I was responsible for architecting and implementing core game systems that brought our vision to life:
- ▸Player Input Systems Designed responsive control schemes for both characters
- ▸Game Mechanics Implemented core gameplay features and character interactions
- ▸AI Systems Developed enemy behaviors and pathfinding logic
- ▸Event-Driven Animation Created responsive animation systems triggered by gameplay events
